Minister Rashad Nabiyev Meets with UN Secretary-General’s Special Envoy for Road Safety

Minister of Digital Development and Transport Rashad Nabiyev met with Jean Todt, the United Nations Secretary-General’s Special Envoy for Road Safety, in Germany.

The meeting focused on the existing strategic partnership between Azerbaijan and the United Nations and its development dynamics, as well as cooperation in the areas of sustainable development, innovation, and inclusive urban planning.

At the same time, information was provided on the work carried out in Azerbaijan in the areas of road safety, urban mobility, and transport infrastructure development, the modernization of urban transport, digitalization, the expansion of public transport, and the promotion of micromobility solutions.
