Minister Rashad Nabiyev Meets with Citizens in Khizi

On 22 May, Minister of Digital Development and Transport Rashad Nabiyev held a reception for residents of the Khizi, Absheron, Zangilan and Gubadli districts, as well as Sumgayit city, at the Heydar Aliyev Center in Khizi.

Prior to the meeting, the Minister visited the monument to Azerbaijan’s National Leader Heydar Aliyev, and laid flowers at it.

During the citizen reception, appeals concerning transport, telecommunications, internet, television and radio broadcasting, as well as postal services were reviewed.

The heads of the Ministry’s relevant bodies were instructed to ensure that the appeals are examined promptly and in accordance with the requirements of the current legislation.

Some issues raised in citizens’ appeals were addressed immediately, while those outside the scope of the Ministry of Digital Development and Transport were registered and will be forwarded to the relevant authorities.

The reception was held in accordance with the May 2026 schedule of citizen receptions by heads of central executive authorities and other administrative bodies in cities and districts.
