About Ministry

Based on Decree No.1464 of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan dated 11 October 2021, the Ministry of Transport, Communications and High Technologies was renamed the Ministry of Digital Development and Transport. The aim was to increase the implementation of digitalization and innovation in the country, develop radio spectrum management, communication and information technologies, improve regulatory mechanisms and create a healthy competitive environment.

The Ministry of Digital Development and Transport is the central executive authority implementing state policy and regulation in the fields of transport (except for cases determined by the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan), including maritime transport and civil aviation, communications (telecommunications and post), e-government, high technologies (information technologies, microelectronics, nano, bio and other innovative science-intensive technologies)
The ministry implements state policy and regulation in the fields of transport, communications, e-government and high technologies.

Meeting held with innovative volunteers

Asif Ismayilov, Deputy Chief of Staff of the Ministry of Digital Development and Transport, and Rashad Bayramov, Advisor to the Minister, met with innovative volunteers.

They shared their experiences and success stories with the volunteers. Deputy Chief of Staff and Advisor to the Minister wished success to the volunteers, expressed support for their activities.

At the meeting, innovative volunteers spoke in detail about their experience and presented their new ideas.

Then a reporting session was held on the activities of the organization Innovative Volunteers, where the participants were provided with extensive information.

It should be noted that it is planned to organize regular meetings of volunteers with representatives of the ministry’s staff and its agencies.
