Media tour organized to the venue of TEKNOFEST Azerbaijan

A media tour has been organized to Baku Crystal Hall and the territory of Baku Seaside Boulevard, where the TEKNOFEST Azerbaijan Aerospace and Technology Festival will take place.

Media representatives visited the venue and they were given detailed information about the festival.

It was noted that that the TEKNOFEST Azerbaijan will be held for the first time in Baku on 26 – 29 May this year, jointly organized by the Turkish Technology Team Foundation (T3 Foundation), the Ministry of Digital Development and Transport of the Republic of Azerbaijan and the Ministry of Industry and Technology of the Republic of Turkey.

The aim is to popularize such areas as aviation, space industry and digital economy, to encourage entrepreneurship in these areas, to identify the knowledge and skills of young engineers through competitions organized within the framework of the festival, as well as to present national technologies to the general public.

It was added that 8 technological competitions – Socially-oriented, Green and Agrarian technologies, Robotics, Baku Skills, Unmanned Aerial Vehicles, Satellite Modeling, Glider, and 3 international events – Smart Karabakh Hackathon, international startup summit Take Off Baku, European Rocket League Championship will be organized within the framework of the festival. Moreover, there will be exhibition pavilions of representatives of the public and private sectors of Azerbaijan and Turkey on an area of 20,000 square metres.

Media representatives were informed that the festival will feature an air show with the participation of Turkish and Azerbaijani Air Force aerobatic teams, a flying man in a jet suit, a FLY BOARD show on water, a wind turbine, technological entertainment attractions for children – a children’s zone and interesting concert programmes.
