MDDT launches Innovative Volunteer Programme

An Innovative Volunteer Programme is launched at the initiative of the Ministry of Digital Development and Transport (MDDT).

The programme, carried out in accordance with the Law of the Republic of Azerbaijan “On Volunteering Activities”, is aimed at increasing the social and public activity of young people.

Initially, registration is carried out under the direction of Azerpost Volunteers, intended for Azerpost LLC under the ministry. The programme is open to people aged 16 to 26.

The first stage of the project Azerpost Volunteers will be implemented at the Azerpost LLC’s postal service centers in Baku. Volunteers will work in three shifts at two main central post offices.

Azerpost, which is transitioning to digitalization and renewal process, will continue this project for two months to measure citizen satisfaction and consider suggestions and complaints made by them.
