Joint Training Center with COMSATS to be established in Baku to train professional ICT specialists
As part of his visit to the Islamic Republic of Pakistan, Minister of Digital Development and Transport Rashad Nabiyev met with Mohammad Nafees Zakaria, Executive Director of the Commission on Science and Technology for Sustainable Development in the South (COMSATS).
The meeting focused on the possibilities of long-term cooperation between the two countries in the field of communications and information technologies.
The implementation of a joint project with COMSATS to train professional ICT specialists in Azerbaijan was discussed during the meeting. To this end, a Memorandum of Understanding was signed between the Innovation and Digital Development Agency under the Ministry of Digital Development and Transport and COMSATS on cooperation in the field of ICT and Technology Training Courses.
According to the Memorandum, Pakistani trainers will start training professional ICT specialists in our country.
It was noted that this project will make a positive contribution to the development of competitive human capital and formation of modern innovation environment in Azerbaijan.
