ITF Highly Appreciates Azerbaijan’s Chairmanship of the Extraordinary Session

An extraordinary session of the Transport Management Board of the International Transport Forum (ITF) was held in Paris. The ITF highly commended Azerbaijan’s chairmanship of the event.

Following the meeting, a statement posted on the ITF’s social media accounts expressed special gratitude to Azerbaijan for successfully managing the session and effectively steering the discussions.

The extraordinary session served as an important platform for dialogue on transport policy and once again highlighted Azerbaijan’s commitment to international cooperation in this field.

It should be noted that Azerbaijan’s presidency of the ITF will conclude with the summit on “Funding Resilient Transport”, scheduled for 6–8 May 2026. This presidency will further strengthen our country’s role in shaping global transport policy.
