In connection with Youth Day, Ministry’s YAP territorial primary party organization holds meeting via videoconference
In connection with the celebration of February 2 – the Day of Azerbaijani Youth, a meeting of the primary territorial party organization of the New Azerbaijan Party (YAP) of the Ministry of Digital Development and Transport was held in the format of a videoconference.
Opening the event with an introductory speech, Deputy Chief of Staff of the Ministry, Chairman of the primary territorial party organization Asif Ismayilov noted that this significant historic day is associated with the name of national leader Heydar Aliyev, who has always paid great attention and care to young people, gave preference to measures taken to solve their problems, and considered this policy one of the most important areas of activity of the modern independent Azerbaijani state.
The deputy chief of staff said that according to the Decree signed by great leader in 1997, February 2 was declared the Day of Azerbaijani Youth. In order to successfully implement the state policy in the field of youth, national leader Heydar Aliyev took another step, which became an example for the whole world – he ensured the formation of the necessary legislative framework in this area.
Asif Ismayilov added that today the youth policy in our country is going through a new stage of essence and quality: “Mr. President Ilham Aliyev with his decisions confirms the great leader’s commitment to youth policy. The work done to develop the spiritual development of young people, patriotic education, overseas education, solving problems of those in need of social protection, the conditions and opportunities created for the formation and development of youth organizations are the result of great attention to this area”.
At the meeting, it was noted that ensuring youth employment in our country is also in the center of attention. The projects implemented by Heydar Aliyev Foundation headed by First Vice-President of Azerbaijan Mehriban Aliyeva to reveal the talents and abilities of young people are a reliable guarantee for the future of the younger generation. Also, projects implemented abroad and in our country on the initiative of Vice-President of Heydar Aliyev Foundation Leyla Aliyeva play an important role in promoting the successes of Azerbaijan, increasing the activity of our youth and coordinating their activities.
At the end of his speech, the deputy chief of staff congratulated the youth and party activists on this significant date and wished them success in their activities for further development of our country.
Speaking at the event, Rustam Abdullazade, Jamila Nasibli, Esmira Aliyeva, Aynura Samedova and Maharram Maharramli shared their impressions about the Youth Day and talked about the challenges facing young people for further development of our country.
