About Ministry

Based on Decree No.1464 of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan dated 11 October 2021, the Ministry of Transport, Communications and High Technologies was renamed the Ministry of Digital Development and Transport. The aim was to increase the implementation of digitalization and innovation in the country, develop radio spectrum management, communication and information technologies, improve regulatory mechanisms and create a healthy competitive environment.

The Ministry of Digital Development and Transport is the central executive authority implementing state policy and regulation in the fields of transport (except for cases determined by the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan), including maritime transport and civil aviation, communications (telecommunications and post), e-government, high technologies (information technologies, microelectronics, nano, bio and other innovative science-intensive technologies)
The ministry implements state policy and regulation in the fields of transport, communications, e-government and high technologies.

Employees of Ministry of Transport, Communications and High Technologies visit national leader Heydar Aliyev's grave in Alley of Honors and Alley of Martyrs on occasion of professional holiday

The employees of the Ministry of Transport, Communications and High Technologies visited the Alley of Honor, paid tribute to the national leader Heydar Aliyev, who is an architect and founder of the independent Azerbaijan, and laid a wreath at his tomb on the occasion of the professional holiday of workers of the sphere of communications and high technologies in Azerbaijan, which is marked on December 6.

They also paid tribute to the prominent ophthalmologist, academician Zarifa Aliyeva, and laid flowers at her grave.

Then the event participants visited the Alley of Martyrs, paid tribute to the heroes who gave their lives for the freedom and territorial integrity of Azerbaijan, and laid flowers at their graves.
