Deputy Minister Rovshan Rustamov offered condolences over death of former S.Korean President Roh Tae-woo
Deputy Minister of Digital Development and Transport, Co-Chairman of the Joint Commission on Economic Cooperation between the Government of the Republic of Azerbaijan and the Government of the Republic of Korea Rovshan Rustamov visited the Embassy of the Republic of Korea in Baku and expressed condolences on the passing away of the 13th President of the Republic of Korea Ro Tae-woo, who ruled the country as president from 1988 to 1993.
Rovshan Rustamov has signed an obituary in the book of condolence of the embassy on behalf of the Government of the Republic of Azerbaijan.
The obituary says:
“I am deeply saddened by the news of the death of Mr. Roh Tae-woo, former President of the Republic of Korea.
Mr. Roh Tae-woo has made significant contributions to the development of democratic values in the Republic of Korea, and has faithfully served his people by implementing the National Health Insurance Program and other social initiatives.
On behalf of myself and the Government of the Republic of Azerbaijan, I extend my deepest condolences to the family of Mr. Roh Tae-woo and to the entire Korean people in connection with this heavy loss.”
