On the eve of 11 October – International Day of the Girl Child, a training Cyber4Girls for girls was held with financial support from the Korea International Cooperation Agency (KOICA), jointly organized by the Ministry of Digital Development and Transport (MDDT) and the Electronic Security Service (ESS). About 100 girls aged 13-18 participated in the training.
The aim of the training was to educate girls on cyber security, informing them about cyber hygiene and personal data protection rules.
The participants were provided with extensive information on cyber security and cyber hygiene, personal data, their security, antivirus programs, malicious content, social engineering and phishing attacks and cyber bullying. Then interactive tasks were performed and questions from the participants were answered.
