“Cyber Care for Children 2” Project Continues
The “Cyber Care for Children 2” grant project, implemented at the initiative of the KOICA Azerbaijan Alumni Association (KOAZ), with the support of the Korea International Cooperation Agency (KOICA) and organized by the Ministry of Digital Development and Transport (MDDT), is continuing successfully. The next awareness-raising event was held at the Child Shelter and Reintegration Center of the “Azerbaijan Children” Public Union.
During the event, particular attention was given to protecting children who have lost their parents or are deprived of parental care from risks in the digital environment, raising awareness of personal data protection mechanisms, promoting responsible behavior on social media platforms, and fostering essential cyber hygiene practices.
The event concluded with a Q&A session, during which the children’s questions were addressed. Participants were then awarded certificates and presented with special gifts.
It should be noted that the “Cyber Care for Children” project aims to enhance the digital safety of children with disabilities, as well as those who have lost their parents or are deprived of parental care, by raising their awareness of cybersecurity, digital skills, and the protection of personal data when using the internet.
