Crisis communication trainings for MDDT specialists came to an end

The trainings on crisis communication organized jointly with the Institute for Development and Diplomacy of ADA University for specialists of the Ministry of Digital Development and Transport (MDDT) has come to an end. The graduation day of the training program took place on 12 December.

Sixty-two representatives of the ministry and subordinate institutions took part in the two-month training courses. Participants were taught how to quickly prepare important messages in times of crisis, organize work with the media, and promptly communicate information to the public and other topics.

Fariz Ismailzade, vice-rector of ADA University, director of the Institute for Development and Diplomacy, congratulated the specialists who successfully completed the program. He said that within the framework of cooperation with the Ministry of Digital Development and Transport, which has been going on for two years, courses and trainings on various topics are organized for the employees on a regular basis.

Rashad Bayramov, advisor to the Minister of Digital Development and Transport, said that the ministry attaches great importance to the development of its employees, improving their knowledge and skills. He noted that the organization of crisis communication trainings also serves this purpose.

Nargiz Ismailzade, head of specialization program at the Institute for Development and Diplomacy, noted that the theory and practice of crisis communication were presented to the ministry staff in a balanced way. Four groups were trained in four areas with a total duration of 24 hours.

Shafag Mehraliyeva, trainer and head of the communications and digital media program at ADA University, stressed the importance of applying the knowledge and experience gained during the program into practice.

The trainer, head of public relations and communications department at Nobel Energy Turkhan Ahmadov, noted that the trainings were held in the form of exchange of interesting experience and ideas.

At the end of the event, the participants of the training program were awarded certificates.
