Citizens Can Now Obtain Employment Certificates Through “MyGov”
A new digital service has been launched for citizens through the “MyGov” digital government platform. The “Employment Certificate Issuance” service is now accessible on the platform.
The integration was made possible through the collaboration between the Innovation and Digital Development Agency and the Ministry of Labour and Social Protection of the Population.
The new service allows citizens to obtain employment certificates directly through “MyGov.” The certificate is generated in electronic (PDF) format, ready for submission, and can be used for visa applications, loans, mortgages, or other official purposes.
Instructions for Using the Service
- The citizen logs in to the “MyGov” platform, navigates to the “Services” section, and selects the “Employment” category. Then, they choose the “Employment Certificate Issuance” service.
- The system automatically verifies the user’s active employment contract, allowing them to select one of the available contracts.
- Users can customize the information to appear on the certificate — including whether to display their salary, specify the purpose of the certificate (e.g., visa, loan, mortgage), and provide a contact number.
- If the certificate is to be submitted to a specific organization, users may enter the organization’s Taxpayer Identification Number (TIN) or name.
- Once confirmed, the system automatically generates the certificate, assigns it a unique document number, and includes a QR code for digital verification.
Citizens can download the certificate in electronic (PDF) format and submit it to any organization as needed. Additionally, external institutions or individuals can verify the authenticity of the certificate by scanning the QR code, entering the document number, or using the “Document Search” section on the my.gov.az portal.
The launch of this service represents another important milestone in the digitalization of public services. Thanks to this innovation, citizens can carry out their daily procedures more quickly, transparently, and conveniently.
