About Ministry

Based on Decree No.1464 of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan dated 11 October 2021, the Ministry of Transport, Communications and High Technologies was renamed the Ministry of Digital Development and Transport. The aim was to increase the implementation of digitalization and innovation in the country, develop radio spectrum management, communication and information technologies, improve regulatory mechanisms and create a healthy competitive environment.

The Ministry of Digital Development and Transport is the central executive authority implementing state policy and regulation in the fields of transport (except for cases determined by the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan), including maritime transport and civil aviation, communications (telecommunications and post), e-government, high technologies (information technologies, microelectronics, nano, bio and other innovative science-intensive technologies)
The ministry implements state policy and regulation in the fields of transport, communications, e-government and high technologies.

Blood donation campaign held at Ministry of Digital Development and Transport on eve of Victory Day

A blood donation campaign was organized on the initiative of the Ministry of Digital Development and Transport with the support of the Central Blood Bank of the Scientific Research Institute of Hematology and Transfusion on the occasion of 8 November – Victory Day.

This charitable initiative was implemented as a sign of respect to the memory of martyrs who gave their lives for the territorial integrity and sovereignty of Azerbaijan.

Employees of the ministry and its subordinate bodies took part in the event.

Donated blood will be used to treat people suffering from hereditary blood diseases.
