Barda–Khankendi regular bus route launched

The Azerbaijan Land Transport Agency (AYNA) is launching a regular bus route Barda – Khankendi from 14 September as part of the Great Return Programme. The aim of launching a new regular route is to provide citizens living in the territories liberated from occupation with quality transport infrastructure and services.

The buses, which will perform three trips a day, will depart from the bus terminal of Barda city at 07:00, 11:30 and 16:30, and from Khankendi city at 09:00, 14:30 and 18:30. Khojaly city is determined as an intermediate point on the Khankendi–Barda route.

The Barda–Khankendi and Barda–Khojaly routes with intermediate points have been integrated into the biletim.az portal. The cost of a ticket in the direction of Barda–Khankendi is 2.80 AZN, in the direction of Barda–Khojaly  is 2.50 AZN.

It is worth noting that when purchasing tickets online through the portal, it is also compulsory to obtain permits in accordance with the rules for issuing permits regarding entry into territories liberated from occupation.
