Baku hosts TAIEX workshop on “Shifting to Green Road Transport Infrastructure”

TAIEX (Technical Assistance and Information Exchange) workshop entitled “Shifting to Green Road Transport Infrastructure”, co-organized by the Ministry of Digital Development and Transport of the Republic of Azerbaijan and the European Union, has started today in Baku.

EU’s experience for green road transport infrastructure and its management, related legislation and standards, as well as green transport polices adopted by various organizations and public authorities and other related issues are discussed at the workshop.

Experts from the Ministry of Digital Development and Transport of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Italy, Latvia and Poland will make presentations at the event.

In addition to the European Union, the Ministry of Digital Development and Transport and its subordinate institutions, the workshop  brings together representatives of the Ministry of Environment and Natural Resources, Ministry of Energy, Ministry of Internal Affairs and Ministry of Economy, State Customs Committee, Azerbaijan University of  Architecture and Construction, Azerbaijan Technical University, ADA University, Baku Engineering University, International Association of Road Carriers of Azerbaijan (ABADA),  and Public Association of Freight Forwarding Companies of Azerbaijan.

It should be noted that the workshop will last two days.
