Aztelecom created opportunity to connect more than 20,000 households in Masally to high-speed Internet

Aztelecom LLC has established a fibre optic network based on GPON (Gigabit Passive Optical Networks) technology in Masally city. The work has been completed in the villages of Ikinji Samadkhanli, Badalan, Yusifli, Dallekoba, Chaygirag, Ashurlu, Demirchi, Babaser, Gizilavar, Kohne Alvadi, Teze Alvadi, Boyuk Kolatan, Bala Kolatan, Meshekanari, Boyuk Khojavar, Banbashi, Yeyenkend, Abasbeyli and Khalfalar villages of Masally region. 4,538 households and business entities in Masally city center and 9,857 households and business entities in Masally region benefit from broadband Internet services.

A total of 20,403 households and business entities in  Masally region are covered by high-speed Internet, more than 14,000 subscribers use the services, and new connections are ongoing.

With the introduction of the new GPON technology, subscribers are offered higher speed (from 30 Mbit/s to 100 Mbit/s) Internet packages (Internet, Internet+telephony, Internet+television, Internet+telephony+television).

The cost of services varies from 18 to 54 AZN, depending on the selected tariff and user requirements.

To connect to the services, citizens can call 170 Call Center of Aztelecom, apply to the territorial service department (address:  79 Heydar Aliyev Ave., Masally region) or submit an application through the official website of the company.

Relevant work to provide high-speed Internet in other regions of the country is also underway according to the plan within the framework of the “Online Azerbaijan” project on the use of modern technologies implemented by the Ministry of Digital Development and Transport.

It should be noted that the number of households with access to broadband Internet has reached 2.29 million in the course of the “Online Azerbaijan” project implemented since 2021.This represents 78% of existing households and business entities in the country.
