Azerbaijani delegation attending World Radiocommunication Conference

The World Radiocommunication Conference kicked off on 20 November in Dubai, United Arab Emirates.

Along with representatives of the Ministry of Digital Development and Transport, Azerbaijan is represented at the event by specialists from the State Administration of Radio Frequencies, Azercosmos and the Information Communication Technologies Agency.

The items on the agenda of the conference, including the development of relevant recommendations and draft resolution documents to ensure effective and unhindered use of radio frequencies for the implementation of next generation terrestrial and satellite technologies and air navigation services in the following years will be considered and approved.

Also, within the framework of the event, it is planned to hold necessary coordination meetings with the communications administrations of relevant countries in order to protect Azerbaijan’s national interests and reach relevant agreements.

The conference will continue its work until 15 December.
