Azerbaijan Cybersecurity Center Launches Registration for New Training Program

The Azerbaijan Cybersecurity Center, established jointly by the Ministry of Digital Development and Transport and the Innovation and Digital Development Agency in collaboration with the Technion – Israel Institute of Technology, has opened registration for its new wave of training programs.

Among the participants who successfully complete the training program, the five top-performing graduates will have the opportunity to participate in a one-month internship at leading companies abroad, allowing them to test and further develop their skills in a real work environment.

Azerbaijani citizens aged 17 and above with English language proficiency and basic ICT skills are eligible to apply for the training program. Registered candidates will consecutively undergo examination and interview stages. In the exam conducted by foreign experts, candidates’ logical and analytical thinking, ICT knowledge and skills, as well as English proficiency will be assessed. Successful candidates from this stage will proceed to an interview, and the top 60 performers will earn the right to participate in the training program on a fully funded scholarship basis. Only those with the highest results at each stage will advance to the next phase of the selection process.

For candidates accepted into the program, classes will be conducted by the academic staff of the Technion – Israel Institute of Technology, following the appropriate teaching methodology, covering both theoretical and practical knowledge. The training will last six months, with lessons from 09:00 to 16:00 and practical sessions from 16:00 to 21:00.

Within the program, two groups of specialists will be trained: the Red Team (offensive) and the Blue Team (defensive). During the training, the teams will participate in simulations to develop and enhance their skills. Graduates who successfully complete the program will be awarded an official certificate from the Technion – Israel Institute of Technology.
