About Ministry

Based on Decree No.1464 of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan dated 11 October 2021, the Ministry of Transport, Communications and High Technologies was renamed the Ministry of Digital Development and Transport. The aim was to increase the implementation of digitalization and innovation in the country, develop radio spectrum management, communication and information technologies, improve regulatory mechanisms and create a healthy competitive environment.

The Ministry of Digital Development and Transport is the central executive authority implementing state policy and regulation in the fields of transport (except for cases determined by the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan), including maritime transport and civil aviation, communications (telecommunications and post), e-government, high technologies (information technologies, microelectronics, nano, bio and other innovative science-intensive technologies)
The ministry implements state policy and regulation in the fields of transport, communications, e-government and high technologies.

Azerpost LLC offers a special discount on money transfers to bank accounts provided by the Disaster and Emergency Management Authority (AFAD) of the Turkish Ministry of Internal Affairs in connection with the earthquake in Turkiye.

Azerpost will not charge a commission on funds donated to the victims.

Those wishing to donate funds can contact the Shebeke’s central post offices and customer service departments until 18:00 on weekdays and until 16:00 on non-working days.

We wish speedy recovery to all victims and wish Allah’s mercy upon those who lost their lives in the earthquake in fraternal Turkiye.
