Another Awareness-Raising Training Session Held under the “Cyber Care for Children 2” Project
An awareness-raising training session was held at Social Service Institution No. 1 for Children as part of the “Cyber Care for Children 2” grant project, implemented on the initiative of the KOICA Azerbaijan Alumni Association (KOAZ), with the support of the Korea International Cooperation Agency (KOICA) and organized by the Ministry of Digital Development and Transport (MDDT).
During the training, children who had lost their parents or were deprived of parental care were provided with detailed information on potential risks in the online environment, ways to protect the confidentiality of personal data, the proper use of social media, and adherence to cyber hygiene practices.
During the interactive training session, the children’s questions were addressed, and certificates and special gifts were presented to them at the end.
It should be noted that the “Cyber Care for Children” project aims to ensure the safety of children with disabilities, as well as those who have lost their parents or are deprived of parental care, in the digital environment, and to raise their awareness of cybersecurity, digital skills, and the protection of personal data when using the internet.
