31st International Olympiad in Informatics comes to an end

The closing ceremony of the 31st International Olympiad in Informatics (IOI 2019) took place at Heydar Aliyev Center.

 

Bronze, silver, and gold medalists were announced at the event. 28 participants of the Olympiad were awarded gold medals, 54 – silver medals and 81 –bronze medals.

 

IOI President Greg Lee made a closing statement at the International Olympiad in Informatics.

 

At the ceremony it was announced that the 32nd International Olympiad in Informatics (IOI 2020) will be held in Singapore from 19 to 26 July, 2020. The flag of the International Olympiad in Informatics was presented to Tan Sun Teck, professor of Singapore National University. Then a short film about our country was shown. The event was continued with an artistic part.

 

It is to be recalled that over 600 schoolchildren, tutors and experts from 88 countries and regions participated in the Olympiad, which was held in Azerbaijan for the first time.
