The International Transport Forum (ITF) has released a statistical bulletin offering a comparative analysis of global transport trends for 2014–2024. Azerbaijan is highlighted in a dedicated section, reflecting its role as the ITF’s current chair country.
Azerbaijan was represented at the conference titled “Promoting Data-Driven Decision-Making”, organized by the International Transport Forum (ITF) and Eurostat in Sofia, the capital of Bulgaria.
As part of Azerbaijan’s chairmanship of the International Transport Forum (ITF), the Forum’s fourth-quarter meetings were held in Baku. Alongside these meetings, a session of the Transport Management Board also took place.

The meetings of the International Transport Forum (ITF) are being held in Baku. The four-day event includes the fourth-quarter sessions of the Research Committee. A total of 42 member countries are taking part in the sessions — the highest number in the Committee’s history.
Azerbaijan was represented at the international roundtable on “Accessibility of Transport for Persons with Disabilities,” organized by the International Transport Forum (ITF) under the Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD).
The next meeting of the Road Transport Group of the European Conference of Ministers of Transport (ECMT) was held in Malta. Azerbaijan was also represented at the meeting.
On 22–24 May, Leipzig (Germany) hosted a summit of the International Transport Forum (ITF) dedicated to the topic of green transport (ITF Summit 2024).
