About Ministry

Based on Decree No.1464 of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan dated 11 October 2021, the Ministry of Transport, Communications and High Technologies was renamed the Ministry of Digital Development and Transport. The aim was to increase the implementation of digitalization and innovation in the country, develop radio spectrum management, communication and information technologies, improve regulatory mechanisms and create a healthy competitive environment.

The Ministry of Digital Development and Transport is the central executive authority implementing state policy and regulation in the fields of transport (except for cases determined by the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan), including maritime transport and civil aviation, communications (telecommunications and post), e-government, high technologies (information technologies, microelectronics, nano, bio and other innovative science-intensive technologies)
The ministry implements state policy and regulation in the fields of transport, communications, e-government and high technologies.

Ministry of Digital Development and Transport organized blood donation campaign on the occasion of Victory Day

On the initiative of the Ministry of Digital Development and Transport and with the organizational support of the Central Blood Bank, a blood donation campaign was held on the occasion of 8 November – Victory Day.

The campaign was organized as a sign of respect to the memory of martyrs who gave their lives for the territorial integrity of Azerbaijan.

Employees of the ministry and its subordinate bodies contributed to the treatment of those suffering from blood diseases by becoming voluntary donors.
