Public Council under Ministry of Transport, Communications and High Technologies holds regular meeting

The Public Council under the Ministry of Transport, Communications and High Technologies held its regular meeting.

The meeting was attended by members of the Public Council, heads of Internet providers Avirtel, Sazz-LTE, Smart systems technology, Azintex and Internet expert Eldar Jafarov.

At the meeting, discussions were held for the study of problems relating to the Internet and ways to solve them.

Speaking at the event, Chairman of the Public Council Siruz Abasbeyli  said that the meeting was the initial discussion of a joint meeting to be held in the ministry, and that the leadership of  this work was entrusted to Deputy Chairman of the Public Council Galib Gurbanov.

In his speech, Galib Gurbanov said that great success has been achieved in the field of the Internet in our country. The Deputy Chairman also added that there were a number of challenges in this area.

“Today, as the Public Council, we see that the Ministry of Transport, Communications and High Technologies is ready and pays attention to taking measures to address the problems,” Galib Gurbanov said.

Then the heads of Internet providers mentioned the existing problems in this field.
