Trainings held for schoolchildren in Tartar on occasion of 140th anniversary of Azerbaijan Telephone Communications

An educational social campaign was held on the occasion of the 140th anniversary of Azerbaijan Telephone Communications, organized by the Ministry of Transport, Communications and High Technologies in partnership with the Public Union Zafar: Support for Martyrs’ Families, Information and Communication Technologies Applying and Training Center LLC (ICT LAB) and Hedef STEAM Lyceum.

 

Within the framework of the campaign, the specialists of Hedef STEAM Lyceum conducted trainings for students in grades 1-4 of Borsunlu village secondary school located in Borsunlu village of Tartar region on the demonstration lesson STEAM (collaborative and integrative teaching of Science, Technology, Engineering, the Arts and Mathematics), ways to use technological resources when doing homework and other topics.

 

ICT LAB instructors conducted trainings on information technologies and social media marketing for students in grades 6-9.

 

The main purpose of the trainings is to raise the awareness of schoolchildren living in rural areas in the field of technology and social media marketing.

 

At the end of the educational event, answers were given to questions of interest to schoolchildren.

 

The following trainings are being held in the Secondary School named after Azer Mammadov in Demirchiler village of Tartar region.

 

It should be noted that the Ministry of Transport, Communications and High Technologies donated computers and printers to the mentioned schools, and school backpacks to primary school students.
