Startups presented by Azerbaijan at Technofest
Eleven Azerbaijani startups are presented in our national pavilion at the Technofest Aerospace and Technology Festival, organized by the Ministry of Transport, Communications and High Technologies.
The model of the space station Victory Road, presented at the festival by an 8th grade student of Heydar Aliyev Modern Educational Complex, consists of a basic control module and a telescopic structure system. And additional spherical parts are located inside each other when the station is sent into space. When the required height is reached, the indicated telescopic structural mechanism is triggered, which starts the station. In the future, additional modules can be integrated into the overall system without any problems, depending on the need. This capability is provided by a standard connection mechanism, and the energy need is fully met by solar panels located on the main station module and on the spherical modules.
Agro Drone presented by Idrak Technology Transfer is for agriculture. This UAV can take a picture of the terrain within 40 minutes and process it in accordance with the assigned tasks and coordinates. An electronic board (e-board) is a device consisting of an interactive screen (touchscreen), a video projector, a computer and special software. Smart Meters are smart meters within the AMI (Advanced Metering Infrastructure). These meters will lay the foundation for creating a national intelligent metering infrastructure, connecting all meters of any type (electric, water, gas, etc.) to a single network. Smart glasses are designed to make life easier for people with visual impairments. At present, glasses can translate text-to-speech and speech-to-text. Dual-display tablet is a notebook tablet for demonstration of software modules of an electronic textbook and interfaces of an electronic notebook.
The project Strike is being developed for conducting tactical and strategic exercises of the Air Force, as well as for working out the scenario of combat operations in virtual reality. The strike complex makes it possible for several pilots to conduct joint exercises regardless of their location, as well as to study in advance the terrain where the flights will take place. The complex consists of software based on virtual reality and a capsule that can rotate around three axes.
The device Climate 1.0, presented as part of the İqlime project, measures air temperature and humidity using an external wired sensor. These metrics are transmitted to the user’s personal account via the mobile network (GPRS). A great number of wireless sensors of various types and WiFi cameras are connected to the İqlime 2.0 device. At present, there are two types of sensors: an air temperature / humidity sensor and a soil moisture sensor. The sensors transmit the read information to the user’s personal account through the main device to which they are connected.
Safee Bike is an innovative and patented projection sign concept designed for the safety of bicycle users. Using the Safee, the cyclist can display appropriate warning signs on his back.
Viastellar solutions are based on the development of small satellites (CubeSat, Pocketsat) from design to launch (Roscosmos, SpaceX) into space. A feature of the company’s technology is the invented optics. To date, image quality of up to 2 meters (GSD @ 500 km) has been achieved with a satellite size of 3U. A semi-model of the 3U satellite (body and skin) will be demonstrated at the festival.

HealWith in a certain way plays the role of a pocket agronomist, helping people with disabilities, especially those in need of social protection, develop their economy, saving time and budget.
