Staff of Ministry of Transport, Communications and High Technologies visited national leader Heydar Aliyev's grave and Alley of Martyrs

December 6 is celebrated as a professional holiday of workers in the field of communications and information technologies in the Republic of Azerbaijan by order No.1804 of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan dated December 2, 2006.

The leadership and staff of the Ministry of Transport, Communications and High Technologies on the occasion of the professional holiday visited the Alley of Honors and paid tribute to the national leader Heydar Aliyev, who is the architect and founder of the independent Azerbaijan, and laid a wreath at his tomb.

They also paid tribute to the prominent ophthalmologist, academician Zarifa Aliyeva, and laid flowers at her grave.

Then the event participants visited the Alley of Martyrs, paid tribute to the heroes who gave their lives for the freedom and territorial integrity of Azerbaijan, and laid flowers at their graves.
