Single Window Digital Logistics Platform Officially Launched
The Single Window Information System – Digital Logistics Platform, which integrates information, services, and processes related to foreign trade operations into a unified digital ecosystem, was officially launched. The event brought together heads and representatives of government agencies, representatives of the business community, and members of the media.
The platform was established by the Ministry of Digital Development and Transport in accordance with Presidential Decree No. 547, signed by the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Ilham Aliyev, on 15 December 2025. The system integrates data, services, and document flows related to import, export, transit, and transport operations, providing participants in foreign economic activity with simpler, more transparent, and traceable access to these processes. This approach helps reduce the administrative burden on businesses, simplify access to public services, and improve the efficiency of foreign trade procedures. In the long term, it will contribute to building a more agile and resilient foreign trade ecosystem, enhancing the competitiveness of the business environment, optimizing trade processes, supporting the country’s economic development objectives, and strengthening the resilience of supply chains for goods and services.
The event featured speeches by Deputy Minister of Digital Development and Transport Rahman Hummatov, Deputy Chairman of the State Customs Committee Natig Shirinov, and Executive Director of the Center for Analysis of Economic Reforms and Communication Vusal Gasimli.
In his remarks, Deputy Minister of Digital Development and Transport Rahman Hummatov said:
The Single Window Information System is a national infrastructure initiative that supports Azerbaijan’s long-term digital transformation in the areas of foreign trade and logistics. Only a limited number of countries worldwide have implemented this model, and by building a unified digital ecosystem through public-private cooperation, Azerbaijan is strengthening its position as a reliable and modern logistics hub for international trade.
The speakers also highlighted the project’s role in advancing the country’s digital transformation agenda, strengthening cooperation between the public and private sectors, and supporting the platform’s future development.
Ehtiram Guliyev, Project Manager of the platform, presented the platform’s core functionalities to the participants. He noted that the platform consists of four main subsystems and outlined the practical benefits they offer to importers, exporters, carriers, freight forwarders, logistics companies, and other stakeholders. Representatives of several businesses attending the event also shared their initial experience with the platform, highlighting the positive results they had observed in streamlining processes and simplifying access to services. Participants also watched a live demonstration of the system, followed by an open question-and-answer session during which the issues raised by participants were addressed.
The Single Window Information System is a national digital platform designed for long-term development. Future phases will include additional public services, further system integrations, and expanded opportunities for international cooperation.
