Same users bought tickets to Shusha under names of different persons

The State Road Transport Service under the Ministry of Digital Development and Transport has conducted an investigation into the fact that some travel companies through social networks organize tours on the route Baku – Shusha. It turned out that after tickets for regular bus trips to Shusha and Aghdam were put up for sale on 26 April, several people bought tickets for the Ahmedbeyli–Shusha–Ahmedbeyli route on different dates on behalf of different persons. As a result of the investigation, these users were identified, and they were invited to the State Road Transport Service. Those individuals admitted that they had received copies of ID documents from citizens in advance and posted ads about tours to Shusha on social networks. After the tickets were put up for sale, they purchased tickets in their names on the portal www.yolumuzqarabaga.az  for the Ahmedbeyli–Shusha– Ahmedbeyli route. Having organized a special bus service from Baku to Ahmedbeyli, they transfer citizens to a bus running on the regular route Ahmedbeyli–Shusha–Ahmedbeyli. They have been strictly warned to stop such activities. Those ads have already been removed from the companies’ social media accounts.

We would like to inform you that no one can buy tickets and then sell or transfer them to other persons. To purchase a ticket, citizens must enter the details of their ID document into the system. Each ticket can be used only by a citizen identified by an ID card. Once a ticket has been purchased, it cannot be transferred to another person. It should also be noted that the ticketing system is integrated with the information systems of relevant government agencies, and passengers who have purchased tickets are given permission to enter the liberated territories. The permission is valid only for the persons who have purchased tickets and it is non-transferable.

The State Road Transport Service recommends citizens not to take such ads seriously, not to send their documents to the contact numbers that they see in the ads, and to purchase tickets themselves without paying extra money to anyone. If citizens encounter cases of illegal sales of tickets, they should report them to the State Road Transport Service by e-mailing  office@danx.gov.az, official Facebook address   https://www.facebook.com/AzDANX  or via  phone number (+99412) 566 52 58.

It should be noted that since May buses have been operating on the route of Baku–Shusha–Baku not three times a week, but four times a week (Thursdays, Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays, on the route of Ahmedbeyli–Shusha–Ahmedbeyli three days a week – Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday).

Thus, trips to Shusha are carried out all days of the week.

In order to ensure the systematization of passenger transportation and the formation of a database, as well as to ensure transparency and convenience, ticket sales for the routes are carried out  only online through the portal www.yolumuzqarabaga.az.
