Representatives of Ministry of Transport, Communications and High Technologies participate in a meeting of GUAM Working Group on Transport

The 17th meeting of the Working Group on Transport of the Organization for Democracy and Economic Development – GUAM due to the COVID-19 pandemic was held in an online format.

Azerbaijan at the video event, which took place with the participation of officials of the relevant entities of the member countries, was represented by employees of the Ministry of Transport, Communications and High Technologies, Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Ministry of Economy and Azerbaijan Railways CJSC.

At the online event, discussions were held on the concept of creating a regional logistics platform, technical and economic feasibility study for the development of the GUAM Transport Corridor, as well as cooperation with the Organization for Cooperation between Railways (OSJD).

The meeting participants were informed in detail about the work done and the measures taken in our country in the transport sector to eliminate the socio-economic consequences of the COVID-19 pandemic.
