About Ministry

Based on Decree No.1464 of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan dated 11 October 2021, the Ministry of Transport, Communications and High Technologies was renamed the Ministry of Digital Development and Transport. The aim was to increase the implementation of digitalization and innovation in the country, develop radio spectrum management, communication and information technologies, improve regulatory mechanisms and create a healthy competitive environment.

The Ministry of Digital Development and Transport is the central executive authority implementing state policy and regulation in the fields of transport (except for cases determined by the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan), including maritime transport and civil aviation, communications (telecommunications and post), e-government, high technologies (information technologies, microelectronics, nano, bio and other innovative science-intensive technologies)
The ministry implements state policy and regulation in the fields of transport, communications, e-government and high technologies.

Representatives from Ministry of Digital Development & Transport visit Shelter for Women and Children

Representatives of the Ministry of Digital Development and Transport have visited minors in a Shelter for Women and Children on the occasion of September 15 – Knowledge Day. The schoolchildren were presented with bags and school kits.

Representatives led by Fidan Farzaliyeva, Advisor to the Minister of Digital Development and Transport, enquired about the state of the shelter. The Chairwoman of the Shelter Mehriban Zeynalova informed on the existing conditions and difficulties. During the conversation, it was decided to hold cybersecurity trainings for the orphanage children and meet a number of other needs.
