Registration for new training program of Azerbaijan Cyber Security Center begins

Azerbaijan Cyber Security Center, founded jointly by the Ministry of Digital Development and Transport, Innovation and Digital Development Agency and Israel’s Technion Institute of Technology, announces registration for a new wave of trainings.

Azerbaijani citizens over the age of 17 who speak English and have basic ICT skills can apply for the trainings.

Registered candidates will be involved in the examination and interview process in the next stage. The exam, to be conducted by Israeli experts, will test candidates’ logical and analytical thinking abilities, ICT knowledge and skills, and English language level. Subsequently, 60 people who successfully pass this stage after being interviewed will be entitled to participate in the trainings free of charge. Only those who gain the highest scores at each stage will be able to participate in the next stage.

Those who admitted to the program will be trained by Israeli instructors according to the Technion Institute’s training program, and will be taught theoretical and practical knowledge. The training will last six months from 09:00 to 18:00.

It is planned to train two groups of specialists within the program: Red Team (attack) and Blue Team (defense). The teams will develop their skills by participating in simulations during training sessions. Those who successfully complete the program will be awarded an official certificate from Technion Institute of Technology.

The deadline for registration is 15 November 2023.

It should be noted that in July 2023, 60 people graduated from Azerbaijan Cyber Security Center, which operates with the support of PASHA Holding Group of Companies. They are already successfully representing the center, working in both public institutions and the private sector. The training of another 60 selected people is ongoing. In addition to training specialized personnel, during the training period, trainings are also held in the areas of awareness raising, advanced training of senior cybersecurity specialists, cybersecurity product research and product development.
