About Ministry

Based on Decree No.1464 of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan dated 11 October 2021, the Ministry of Transport, Communications and High Technologies was renamed the Ministry of Digital Development and Transport. The aim was to increase the implementation of digitalization and innovation in the country, develop radio spectrum management, communication and information technologies, improve regulatory mechanisms and create a healthy competitive environment.

The Ministry of Digital Development and Transport is the central executive authority implementing state policy and regulation in the fields of transport (except for cases determined by the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan), including maritime transport and civil aviation, communications (telecommunications and post), e-government, high technologies (information technologies, microelectronics, nano, bio and other innovative science-intensive technologies)
The ministry implements state policy and regulation in the fields of transport, communications, e-government and high technologies.

Postage stamp “One nation, two states. Victory parade” and First Day Covers issued

Azermarka LLC under the Ministry of Transport, Communications and High Technologies has issued a postage stamp entitled “One nation, two states. Victory parade” and First Day Covers on the occasion of the Victory parade held in Baku on December 10, 2020.

The subject of the project is dedicated to the Azerbaijani-Turkish brotherhood and Turkey’s moral support to our country during the 44-day war.

The print run of the postage stamp is 100,000 copies. Also, 500 First Day Covers were issued.

Note that on December 10, President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Mr. Ilham Aliyev and President of the Republic of Turkey Mr. Recep Tayyip Erdogan cancelled the envelopes with the first day stamp.
