Postage stamp dedicated to the Year of Volunteers issued

Azermarka LLC under the Ministry of Transport, Communications and High Technologies has issued a postage stamp prepared at the initiative of the Regional Development Public Association in connection with the announcement of 2020 as the Year of Volunteers.

 

The aim is to contribute to the “Year of Volunteers” announced in our country by the relevant order of President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev.

 

The postage stamp depicts three human silhouettes holding hands against the background of a clear sky, symbolizing unity, solidarity and mutual assistance among people. And the gaps between human figures form the silhouette of a dove, which has been considered a symbol of peace, care and kindness since ancient times.

 

Note that the designer of the postage stamp, issued with a circulation of 7,000 copies, is artist Vugar Eyyubov.
