Polish-Azerbaijani Transport and Logistics Working Group holds first meeting

The first meeting of the Working Group on Transport and Logistics between the Republic of Azerbaijan and the Republic of Poland took place on February 25-26 in Warsaw. The meeting from the Azerbaijani side was chaired by Deputy Minister of Transport, Communications and High Technologies Elmir Velizade, from the Polish side – by Deputy Minister of Infrastructure Andrzej Bittel.
The meeting discussed the opportunities for cooperation in the field of roads and railways, sea transport, transit transport and postal services. At the same time, the importance of continuing joint activities to fully utilize the transit opportunities of the two countries during cargo transportation within the East-West and South-West transport corridors and promote transportation through the Trans-Caspian International Transport Route (TITR) was emphasized.
Following the meeting, a protocol was signed.
