About Ministry

Based on Decree No.1464 of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan dated 11 October 2021, the Ministry of Transport, Communications and High Technologies was renamed the Ministry of Digital Development and Transport. The aim was to increase the implementation of digitalization and innovation in the country, develop radio spectrum management, communication and information technologies, improve regulatory mechanisms and create a healthy competitive environment.

The Ministry of Digital Development and Transport is the central executive authority implementing state policy and regulation in the fields of transport (except for cases determined by the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan), including maritime transport and civil aviation, communications (telecommunications and post), e-government, high technologies (information technologies, microelectronics, nano, bio and other innovative science-intensive technologies)
The ministry implements state policy and regulation in the fields of transport, communications, e-government and high technologies.

Order of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan on the announcement of partial mobilization in the Republic of Azerbaijan

Guided by Item 25 of Article 109 of the Constitution of the Republic of Azerbaijan, I hereby order:

1. To announce partial mobilization in the Republic of Azerbaijan.

2. The State Service for Mobilization and Conscription of the Republic of Azerbaijan shall ensure the conscription of military officials and the implementation of measures arising from military transport duties in accordance with the approved plans.

3. The Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Azerbaijan shall resolve the issues arising from this Order.

4. This Order comes into force on the day of its signing.
