One more electric bus delivered to Baku for testing

As part of the Baku City Mobility Program, which was prepared and launched by Ministry of Digital Development and Transport, an in-service electric bus from another manufacturer was delivered to the capital for testing purposes. The main objective is to make the transport system safer, eco-friendly, and reduce emissions into the atmosphere.

In cooperation with the Chinese company Yutong Bus Co. LTD,   Yutong electric bus, which had been in service for some time, was delivered from Uzbekistan to Baku and put into service.

The aim is to test how well the electric buses will operate after a certain period of use and their compatibility with current conditions. The total passenger capacity of the bus is 85 people.

In the near future, another electric bus manufactured by another company will be delivered to our country. The buses will be tested and evaluated during the trial period. Based on the results, the use of electric buses in public transport in Baku city will be considered.

It should be noted that the first electric bus purchased from Chinese company BYD was launched on the route in Baku in September. Once fully charged, the bus can cover a distance of 350 kilometers.
