New transport interchange hub put into operation near Ganjlik metro station

The Azerbaijan Land Transport Agency  (AYNA) has implemented another project to provide quality public transport services to the population.

Thus, a new transport interchange hub has been created near Ganjlik metro station to ensure comfortable movement of passengers. The new hub is of great importance in increasing  passenger comfort and safety, improving bus traffic conditions, reducing congestion and traffic jams on Fatali Khan Khoyski Street.

An appropriate transport infrastructure has been created in front of the Republican Stadium named after Tofig Bahramov. Stops for shuttle buses have been installed, lampposts have been replaced with new ones, a new road has been built, road signs have been installed and markings have been made. A bus lane has been created in the safety zone. A traffic light was installed at the entrance to the underground car park of Ganjlik Mall shopping center.

It should be noted that at the initial stage, 181 buses on 12 regular routes will run on the territory of transport interchange hub during the day.
