MTCHT pleased children of martyred servicemen

The Innovation Agency under the Ministry of Transport, Communications and High Technologies (MTCHT) and Public Union Zafar (Victory): Supporting the Martyrs’ Families” in partnership with Mars Academy, Azerbaijan Robotics and Engineering Academy (AREA) and company Engineering for Kids has organized an event for children of martyred servicemen on the occasion of June 26 – Day of the Armed Forces of the Republic of Azerbaijan.

As part of the event, a master-class on robotics was organized for the children of martyred servicemen who sacrificed their lives for their homeland during the April battles in 2016. In addition, the children were able to have fun by participating in the process of controlling the flights of drones. Various intellectual games and competitions were also organized for the children. They were vividly explained the mechanism of work, assembly and testing of drones, and informed about drone technologies.

During the event, it was noted that there is a circle on robotics operating within the framework of the project “Robopark” of the Ministry of Transport, Communications and High Technologies, and in these circles courses on robotics and trainings on drone flight management are held in summertime. The children of martyrs who were died in April battles can participate in the trainings of their choices. It should be noted that the trainings will be free for them.
