About Ministry

Based on Decree No.1464 of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan dated 11 October 2021, the Ministry of Transport, Communications and High Technologies was renamed the Ministry of Digital Development and Transport. The aim was to increase the implementation of digitalization and innovation in the country, develop radio spectrum management, communication and information technologies, improve regulatory mechanisms and create a healthy competitive environment.

The Ministry of Digital Development and Transport is the central executive authority implementing state policy and regulation in the fields of transport (except for cases determined by the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan), including maritime transport and civil aviation, communications (telecommunications and post), e-government, high technologies (information technologies, microelectronics, nano, bio and other innovative science-intensive technologies)
The ministry implements state policy and regulation in the fields of transport, communications, e-government and high technologies.

Ministry’s Appeal Board holds its next meeting

The Appeal Board of the Ministry of Transport, Communications and High Technologies has held its regular meeting.

The meeting considered the appeal of a citizen in connection with the results of an interview held on December 21, 2020 for the Ministry of Transport, Communications and High Technologies. At the meeting, which was held with the participation of the citizen, the appeal was heard, thoroughly investigated and discussed.

In conclusion, a relevant decision was made in accordance with the requirements of the Regulations on the Appeal Board.
