About Ministry

Based on Decree No.1464 of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan dated 11 October 2021, the Ministry of Transport, Communications and High Technologies was renamed the Ministry of Digital Development and Transport. The aim was to increase the implementation of digitalization and innovation in the country, develop radio spectrum management, communication and information technologies, improve regulatory mechanisms and create a healthy competitive environment.

The Ministry of Digital Development and Transport is the central executive authority implementing state policy and regulation in the fields of transport (except for cases determined by the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan), including maritime transport and civil aviation, communications (telecommunications and post), e-government, high technologies (information technologies, microelectronics, nano, bio and other innovative science-intensive technologies)
The ministry implements state policy and regulation in the fields of transport, communications, e-government and high technologies.

Ministry officials visit family of martyr Denis Pronin

Officials of the Ministry of Transport, Communications and High Technologies visited the family of Denis Pronin, who died in the battles for the liberation of our lands from occupation.

During the visit, they presented the martyr’s daughter with a laptop to attend online classes.

Denis Pronin’s family members said that he went to the front voluntarily and died in the battles in the direction of Fizuli, and the victorious Azerbaijani army avenged him. They said that Denis always wanted to take part in the liberation of Karabakh from occupation. They proudly noted that under the leadership of Supreme Commander-in-Chief Ilham Aliyev, Azerbaijan won a historic victory, justice was restored and Denis’s soul rests in peace.

It should be noted that the Ministry of Transport, Communications and High Technologies regularly implements various social responsibility measures.
