Ministry of Transport, Communications and High Technologies launches awareness-raising and social campaign
An awareness-raising and social campaign was organized by the Ministry of Transport, Communications and High Technologies in partnership with Public Union “Zafar” (Victory): Support for Martyrs’ Families, ICT Applying and Training Center LLC (ICT LAB) and Engineering for Kids.
As part of the campaign, trainings were held today for students of the secondary school in the village of Chemenli of Aghdam region located near front-line on such topics as the basics of information technologies, social media marketing, engineering and mechanics.
The main purpose of the trainings is to increase the level of knowledge and skills of rural students in the field of information technologies, as well as to increase awareness of social media marketing and bridge the digital divide between urban and rural schools.
The trainings were conducted by specialists of ICT LAB and Engineering for Kids.
At the end of the event, which aroused great interest among schoolchildren, answers were given to the questions on the training topics.
Next similar trainings will be organized tomorrow at the secondary school of Ayaggarvand village in Aghdam region.
It should be noted that the Ministry of Transport, Communications and High Technologies donated computers and printers to schools, and Azermarka LLC – school suppliers to students.
