About Ministry

Based on Decree No.1464 of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan dated 11 October 2021, the Ministry of Transport, Communications and High Technologies was renamed the Ministry of Digital Development and Transport. The aim was to increase the implementation of digitalization and innovation in the country, develop radio spectrum management, communication and information technologies, improve regulatory mechanisms and create a healthy competitive environment.

The Ministry of Digital Development and Transport is the central executive authority implementing state policy and regulation in the fields of transport (except for cases determined by the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan), including maritime transport and civil aviation, communications (telecommunications and post), e-government, high technologies (information technologies, microelectronics, nano, bio and other innovative science-intensive technologies)
The ministry implements state policy and regulation in the fields of transport, communications, e-government and high technologies.

Ministry of Transport, Communications and High Technologies joins blood donation campaign launched by Heydar Aliyev Foundation

The Ministry of Transport, Communications and High Technologies has also joined the blood donation campaign launched by Heydar Aliyev Foundation in connection with the reduction of blood supplies for children suffering from thalassemia, hemophilia and leukemia during a special quarantine regime applied in the country due to the COVID-19 coronavirus pandemic.

After checking the health condition of the volunteers by hematologists, those who met the relevant medical requirements were allowed to participate in the campaign.

Thus, by participating in the blood donation, ministry employees supported the increase of blood supply.

It should be noted that the Ministry of Transport, Communications and High Technologies regularly conducts voluntary blood donation campaigns.
