Ministry of Digital Development and Transport holds workshop with Microsoft in Baku

The Ministry of Digital Development and Transport, against the background of digital transformation of government agencies in Azerbaijan, together with Microsoft held a seminar on “RİNN&Microsoft – Digital Partnership and Sharing Experiences”.

The event, organized by AzInTelecom LLC under the ministry, featured discussions on the application, benefits and digital utility of Microsoft products in the activities of government agencies of Azerbaijan.

The purpose of the event is, through the use of Microsoft products, to accelerate the process of transforming our country into a competitive human capital and modern innovation space, which is one of the five national priorities mentioned in the document “Azerbaijan 2030: National Priorities for Socio-Economic Development”.

Microsoft representatives Anna Kashtanova and Tatyana Iostman, who were on a visit to our country, made presentations of products offered by the company for digitalization of existing processes. The representatives of the international corporation spoke in detail about the products and the operating principles of each service.

Speaking at the event, Ruslan Aliyev, director of the Commercial Department of AzInTelecom LLC, said that, as an innovative company, AzInTelecom LLC regularly carries out digitalization of existing work processes. According to him, the LLC, in cooperation with Microsoft, uses digital products provided by the international corporation.

“AzInTelecom is fully ready to share the experience gained as a result of close cooperation with Microsoft on digitalization and centralization of processes with other government agencies of Azerbaijan”, Ruslan Aliyev said.
