About Ministry

Based on Decree No.1464 of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan dated 11 October 2021, the Ministry of Transport, Communications and High Technologies was renamed the Ministry of Digital Development and Transport. The aim was to increase the implementation of digitalization and innovation in the country, develop radio spectrum management, communication and information technologies, improve regulatory mechanisms and create a healthy competitive environment.

The Ministry of Digital Development and Transport is the central executive authority implementing state policy and regulation in the fields of transport (except for cases determined by the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan), including maritime transport and civil aviation, communications (telecommunications and post), e-government, high technologies (information technologies, microelectronics, nano, bio and other innovative science-intensive technologies)
The ministry implements state policy and regulation in the fields of transport, communications, e-government and high technologies.

Ministry delights martyr children on June 1 – International Children’s Day

The Ministry of Digital Development & Transport and Public Union Zafar: Support for Martyrs’ Families have carried out another joint project on the occasion of June 1 – International Children’s Day.

On this remarkable day, the children of martyrs were presented with gifts and cards prepared by employees of the ministry.

The representatives of the ministry and its agencies visited martyr Seymur Alasgarov’s son Eldar in the hospital.

On International Children’s Day, representatives of subordinate agencies also provided their support and congratulated the children of martyrs on the holiday.

Azerpost LLC contributed to the project by delivering gifts to the regions.
