About Ministry

Based on Decree No.1464 of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan dated 11 October 2021, the Ministry of Transport, Communications and High Technologies was renamed the Ministry of Digital Development and Transport. The aim was to increase the implementation of digitalization and innovation in the country, develop radio spectrum management, communication and information technologies, improve regulatory mechanisms and create a healthy competitive environment.

The Ministry of Digital Development and Transport is the central executive authority implementing state policy and regulation in the fields of transport (except for cases determined by the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan), including maritime transport and civil aviation, communications (telecommunications and post), e-government, high technologies (information technologies, microelectronics, nano, bio and other innovative science-intensive technologies)
The ministry implements state policy and regulation in the fields of transport, communications, e-government and high technologies.

Minister Rashad Nabiyev visited martyr and war veteran families in Goychay

As part of his visit to Ujar region in connection with the reception of citizens, Minister of Digital Development and Transport Rashad Nabiyev visited the families of martyrs and war veterans in Goychay region and attended the opening of a spring built in honour of martyrs.

Rashad Nabiyev met with family members of martyr Eldar Shirinov and took interest in their problems.

During the meeting, they talked about the memories of the martyr and his bravery in the Patriotic War.
