About Ministry

Based on Decree No.1464 of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan dated 11 October 2021, the Ministry of Transport, Communications and High Technologies was renamed the Ministry of Digital Development and Transport. The aim was to widen the implementation of digitalization and innovation in the country, develop radio spectrum management, communication and information technologies, improve regulatory mechanisms and create a healthy competitive environment.

The Ministry of Digital Development and Transport is the central executive authority implementing state policy and regulation in the fields of transport (except for cases determined by the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan), including maritime transport and civil aviation, communications (telecommunications and post), e-government, high technologies (information technologies, microelectronics, nano, bio and other innovative science-intensive technologies)
The ministry implements state policy and regulation in the fields of transport, communications, e-government and high technologies.

Minister Rashad Nabiyev to receive citizens in Yevlakh

Minister of Digital Development and Transport Rashad Nabiyev will receive citizens in Yevlakh city (citizens from Yevlakh, Barda, Tartar, Goranboy regions and Mingachevir city) at Heydar Aliyev Center (address: Yevlakh city, Nizami Ave 61) on June 16, 2022, at 10:00.

The reception will take place in accordance with the schedule for reception of citizens in cities and regions in June, 2022 by heads of central executive authorities and other government bodies.

The Minister will listen to citizens on issues of concern to them related to the provision of transport, telecommunications, including Internet, TV & radio broadcasting, and postal services in these regions.
