About Ministry

Based on Decree No.1464 of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan dated 11 October 2021, the Ministry of Transport, Communications and High Technologies was renamed the Ministry of Digital Development and Transport. The aim was to increase the implementation of digitalization and innovation in the country, develop radio spectrum management, communication and information technologies, improve regulatory mechanisms and create a healthy competitive environment.

The Ministry of Digital Development and Transport is the central executive authority implementing state policy and regulation in the fields of transport (except for cases determined by the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan), including maritime transport and civil aviation, communications (telecommunications and post), e-government, high technologies (information technologies, microelectronics, nano, bio and other innovative science-intensive technologies)
The ministry implements state policy and regulation in the fields of transport, communications, e-government and high technologies.

Minister Rashad Nabiyev to receive citizens in Ujar

Minister of Digital Development and Transport Rashad Nabiyev will receive citizens in Ujar city (citizens from Kurdemir, Ujar, Goychay, Aghdash, and Zardab regions) at Heydar Aliyev Center (address: Ujar city, Heydar Aliyev Ave 153) on May 13, 2022, at 10:00.

The reception will take place in accordance with the schedule for reception of citizens in cities and regions in May, 2022 by heads of central executive authorities.

At the reception, the Minister will listen to citizens’ complaints and problems relating to the provision of transport, telecommunications, including Internet, TV & radio broadcasting, and postal services in the said regions.

Those wishing to make an appointment with the Minister are requested to contact the Call Center (1655) of the Ministry of Digital Development and Transport before May 12, 2022, apply via email (mincom@mincom.gov.az) or call 012 598 58 58 (ext. 222 and 290).
